Hello there! Welcome to my little blog! I write here to record the happenings of our family which I would otherwise forget all-too-quickly and, I hope, to encourage myself and anyone else who happens to stop by. My blog is not so named because I live constantly with heaven in mind, but because I desperately need to.
I am incredibly blessed to be married to a wonderful man who loves me very well. We have two young children and I have the privilege to stay at home with them. Though raising them is a daunting (and draining) task, I would not trade it for the world.
With the small bits of time left over after being a wife and mother, I enjoy riding my horse, knitting, working to beautify my home, drinking coffee (and tea sometimes), baking, talking to good friends, cooking (and eating of course), reading, watching birds (anything from hummingbirds to chickens to ducks), being part of large, loud and chaotic family gatherings, and feeling alone in the woods.
I would not be who I am apart from my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I do not know or love Him nearly as much as I should, but it is my daily desire that I come to know and love Him more.
