September goals

Last week I think I turned a corner with this pregnancy. The second trimester renewal of energy is upon us! I have actually woken up a few mornings before the children. My energy has been very limited all summer. Why get up earlier if that just means you will be exhausted with even more time left before nap time? This, of course, results in much less work being done around the house, which is fine for a season.

But I would be thrilled if that season is behind us for a little bit. In light of all this, I have composed a "to do" list for September. There are so many things I would love to get done before this baby comes, but I tried to be reasonable.

Personal- finish reading Heaven

Home- paint downstairs office
          - simplify and organize master closet
          - plant fall veggies

Others- take 2 meals to neighbors (or invite them over)
           -plan flowers for Leah's wedding

Family- go to library "Toddler Time" at least once
             - research and compose list of six local places to visit over next year, one every other                  month
             - celebrate our anniversary (probably while we are in Cape May)

This feels piteously small but if I am overly ambitious I am just dooming myself to disappointment. Also, we are going to Cape May for a week so I need to get cracking!
