Here are some pictures from our little stop in North Carolina on our way to Maryland. First, the arboretum.
This was inside a corridor made by two rows of trees and it was fairly dark inside. Nate said, "Shhhh, there might be tigers in here"
Anything involving water held their attention until I dragged them away, usually by saying, "Let's see if we can go find another pond!" This little pond had lots of big tadpoles in it that would dive up to the top periodically. You can see one right between Nate and Evelyn's head.
I know artichokes taste amazing but didn't know that they grow on such an awesome looking plant!
Playing at a park...
Which quickly digressed into throwing rocks into the stream...
And then of course we all ended up in the water!
Fun was had by all.
